I have been a diabetic since I was about 8 which means I have been a type one diabetic since the stone ages in care. Well It felt like it at times like I was. I now have an insulin pump and hope to improve my control which has lately been horrifyingly bad. I have never considered myself to be a “normal” diabetic and still do many of the things that non-diabetics do. I have a body piercing although few will ever see it. lol You never see in without a shirt let alone in shorts, scares too many people. I am going to use this blog to relate some of my experiences and hope it helps someone not repeat my screw ups and get a head start with making the right choices. So here goes………………….
